In a country where the situation has gone from bad to worse, we work to create a better world – one child and one family at a time.

72% of the population lives in extreme poverty, and the unemployment is at staggering 95%. Rapid inflation has made it even harder for people to make ends meet. In February 2023, E24 reported a food price increase of 285%, and school fees have risen by up to 1000%. This makes it nearly impossible for many to cover basic needs, including education. We therefore believe that “help to self-help” is the way forward, as people must create their own opportunities when the surrounding society fails.

Would you like to make a difference? Become a sponsor! You decide the amount and how often you would like to give. Everything from 1 USD, 20 USD, 50 USD or any other amount - monthly, quarterly, or annually. Every contribution helps give children and families in Zimbabwe a better future.

Our approach is threefolded. We believe local ownership creates long-term growth. We also believe in mutual knowledge sharing between local actors and professionals from around the world, as this can strengthen inspiration and motivation both ways. In addition, we depend on providing emergency aid and support as and when needed, because a basic foundation is essential for growth. It is impossible to focus on building a business if children do not have food on the table every day.

Help to self-help provides people with knowledge, confidence, and dignity. When they find their own solutions, they are no longer seen as a problem to be solved, but as individuals who can actively create their own future.
